Many other fish roam these flats from cobia and blue fish to mackerel and monster sharks.

All of these are willing and able to take a bait from an angler ready to face the challenge of their fight.

See hundreds of 10 pound plus reds, school on the flats during the summer were a typical day might consist of 30 fish or more on light tackle.

Billy Henderson has lived and fished in the Crystal River area for 25 years and Guides out of an awesome custom built back country skiff that's 20' long by 8' wide. He also runs a 185 BayCraft flats boat that is just perfect for tarpon fishing. He is a third generation native and spent a lifetime riding along with his uncles and grandfathers as they fished the waters of the gulf coast.

You may have seen Billy on fishing shows such as "Addictive Fishing" w/ Capt Blair Wiggins to "On More Cast" as he takes bass fishing legend Shaw Grigsby in search of shallow water reds with excitement that you won't want to miss.

Top quality gear from St. Croix rods and Fin-Nor or Shimano reels are use on all fishing trips.

Rates for Tarpon:

1 or 2 people $400 all day / $350 half day Fly or spinning tackle. June and July

Trip Rates:

Rates everything but tarpon.
Full day for 1 or 2 people $350
Half day for 1 or 2 people $250
additional person(s) $50 up to four
All bait, tackle, fishing gear and cooler and ice is provided

It is recommend that you bring food, drinks, hat, sunglasses and comfortable shoes.
