Dr. Phillips is a native of Louisiana, and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Oral Roberts University in 1986. After completing his medical residency program in Virginia in 1989, he then entered the U.S. Air Force. Here he rose to the rank of Major, before leaving the service and entering private practice in 1994. He has been in practice in Ocala since 1995, and is on staff for all of the local hospitals.

       Dr. Phillips is a member of the American Medical Association, and is also a board certified member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

       In his spare time he enjoys Fishing, music, and Literature. He is married and has 2 children, a daughter Rachel who is 6 yrs. old, and a son Doyle the 3rd who is 5 yrs old. His wife Cindy is an RN and works at one of the local hospitals.

       His office is a provider for Medicare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. He is also a member of the Physician Health Organizations of both local hospitals and participates in the plans that these organizations have contracts with. We are not Work Comp providers, but we will file all insurance that is not an HMO.
